Growing up in Northern Michigan I developed a great passion for the outdoors. After starting my guide career over 10 years ago on my home waters in Northern Michigan my passion for fishing took me to work the waters of Alaska, Patagonia, and Montana! Years of traveling and working in the fishing and lodge industry helped me realize I wanted to run my own “operation” someday. Travel also taught me how unique and rewarding our Northern Michigan fishery truly is! Northern Michigan’s natural beauty and abundant waters offered me a place (literally in my back yard) that rivals some of the best freshwater fishing destinations, and just like that the idea for the River Hutt was born. I want to combine my expertise on the water, my background in the fishing lodge world and my unique properties in Northern Michigan to help create a memorable, fun outdoor experience!
When Im not fishing or working around the property you can find me chasing birds around the woods with my dogs, Otis and Binè.
